Why Is It Named The Needs?
From her YouTube vlog account, Tasya Farasya explained the reason why she gave the name “The Needs”. "I collab with Focallure and made a face palette that I think is very essential and needed. So this is not what you want, but what you need." said Tasya[2].
Why Tasya Farasya?
Tasya Farasya is a big celebrity and beauty vlogger in Indonesia. Previously, the name Tasya was taken from Teisa and Farasya derived from the family name which is Farassiya. Tasya is known for her love for make-up since she was just a little girl! Then, she started to create beauty content on her Instagram. At first, Tasya is always being requested to create a beauty vlog account on YouTube, and now Tasya has become a famous beauty vlogger with 1.9 million followers on Instagram and 2.1 million subscribers on YouTube[3]. People are always looking forward to see her video.
The secret behind Tasya Farasya’s success was because, not only does she create beauty content, but she can “speak” through her contents. People always commented on how Tasya can make people relate to her. People are putting trust in her content. Tasya’s opinions on beauty are heard by people, for she always makes sure that her content is real and not made up. Tasya never recommends something that she has not used before and she always makes sure that what she recommends to her subscribers and followers are trusted-products. Her originality in making contents is admired by many people. That’s why, not only do people see her and her beauty contents, but they also see the beauty that’s within Tasya. This strong “connection” between Tasya Farasya and the people then made Focallure intrigued to make her the brand ambassador, creating a strong public image. What is in The Needs Face Palette?
The Needs face palette features a brush with two sides that functions as a blending brush and flat brush[4]. The Needs face palette is a complete and versatile decorative cosmetic series in one palette.
In making this face palette, Tasya discusses all the matters directly with Focallure starting from the formulation, choosing the type of pigments, colours and also the layout design.
This palette consists of 14 eyeshadow colours, in which seven of them are shimmery colours and the rest are matte. The names of these eyeshadow colours were inspired by Tasya’s life stories that she holds very close to her heart.
For the matte colours, there are Backstreet, Butterfly, Peachy, Kiki, Ars, LDR and Literally. For shimmer colours, four of them are metallic pigment presses that are very blinding and the rest are shimmer colours that give a wet natural look. The names of the colours are Glam Army, Tati, Ala, Molar, Alyssa, Emma, and Lulu. The face palette is creamy and super pigmented.The Needs Face Palette also comes with a unique blush colour, Fave and Flush, that can be used to add coral colour according to your needs. There are also super blinding highlighter, Pink and Sun. The last colour is a contour named Coffee and Cream.
